Smarter Wellbore Fluid Displacement—Unlocking Efficiency with FluidPro (Dec 2025)

Smarter Wellbore Fluid Displacement—Unlocking Efficiency with FluidPro (Dec 2025)

Replacing drilling fluids before completion is critical to well performance, but traditional displacement models don’t support sand control hardware and assume piston displacement with no fluid mixing—leading to inefficiencies and risks. Poor displacement can cause solids buildup, downhole tool failures, and even reduced productivity due to contamination.

FluidPro changes the game by accurately simulating fluid intermixing in complex sand control flow paths while keeping computing time practical for field use. It helps engineers optimize pump rates, volumes, and flow dynamics—reducing operational risks and improving efficiency.

In this webinar, we showcase how FluidPro works and demonstrate its real-world impact on wellbore fluid displacement.

Managed Pressure Gravel Packing – MPGP (March 2024)

Managed Pressure Gravel Packing – MPGP (March 2024)

Until recently, the only way to successfully gravel pack challenging wells in narrow pressure operating windows required adjusting the placement pump rate, fluids or down hole hardware. As margins become smaller, even these changes become limiting and a new approach is required. With the advent of Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD), a new method for gravel packing these wells has become available - Managed Pressure Gravel Packing (or MPGP).

In this webinar, we discuss this new method and demonstrate practical examples using PackPro, the industry-standard sand control software, which now incorporates the ability to design and evaluate MPGP treatments.
