The third quarter was very busy for DuneFront; check out the highlights below.

We’re excited to introduce the new DuneFront! Our new branding isn’t just about a fresh look. It’s about delivering tangible benefits to our customers.

Over the years, we’ve grown and evolved from a single software idea to a leading sand control company and our new identity reflects this journey.

The new logo, with its three dots, brings up our triad – Software, Consulting and Training – but more importantly, it underscores our commitment to enhancing your experience and delivering even greater value.

We invite you to explore the new DuneFront website and discover how our enhanced services and cutting-edge software solutions can support your sand control needs today and into the future.

From September 16th to 20th, our team gathered in Bali, Indonesia, for an inspiring week of reflection and planning. For a team that operates remotely, meeting in person brought a renewed sense of connection and collaboration. We reviewed our operations over the past year and made key decisions to enhance our services and better meet our clients’ needs. This face-to-face time was invaluable for strengthening team bonds, sharing ideas more effectively, and aligning our vision for the future. It set a powerful stage for continued success, reminding us of the unique synergy that only in-person collaboration can bring.

In Q3, we actively participated in several oil and gas conferences and workshops around the globe:

  • In August, Martial Oudraogo, attended and collaborated with Nymagx at SPE NAICE CONFERENCE in Lagos, Nigeria
  • DuneFront made a strong impression with our engaging booth, managed by Mariano Sanchez and Ray Tibbles at the Deepwater Technical Symposium in New Orleans, Louisiana. Our presence showcased our commitment to innovation and collaboration in the industry.
  • Kesavan Govinathan played a key role on the committee for the Society of Petroleum Engineers’ “Sand Management Workshop” in Kuala Lumpur. His contributions were vital to the success of this important event, fostering collaboration and innovation in sand management practices within the industry
  • Ray Tibbles represented DuneFront at the prestigious 100th edition of the Annual Technical Conference & Exhibition (ATCE) in New Orleans. This event offered an excellent platform for networking with our valued clients and connecting with potential customers, allowing us to explore ways to enhance our service and better meet their needs.
  • Samuel Tocalino attended the Rio O&G Conference in September in the century-old warehouses of the renovated port area of Rio de Janeiro. He connected with current and potential clients, strengthening relationships and exploring new opportunities in this dynamic market.

This quarter, Martial Ouedraogo presented a compelling webinar on “Innovative Gravel Packing Solutions for Narrow Pressure Wells”. The session delved into various technologies designed to effectively gravel pack open hole completions in challenging narrow pressure window wells. You can catch this insightful webinar and all our previous sessions on our website resources page, which are available to watch at your convenience.

Dunefront’s unwavering commitment to supporting our clients has kept us bustling this quarter with a variety of consulting studies:

We had the privilege of assisting an IOC in the Asia Pacific region with designing, remotely supporting and evaluating three gravel pack wells. Our expert team conducted multiple design sensitivities and offered recommendations to optimize the gravel pack treatment. During the treatment’s execution, we provided real-time support and conducted a thorough post-job evaluation. The collaboration with the client, from initial design to real-time execution and evaluation, fostered a continuous learning environment, allowing us to enhance and refine gravel pack operations for even greater efficiency and effectiveness.

We also had the opportunity to assist a customer in designing, providing remote support, and conducting post-job evaluation for a deepwater open-hole gravel pack completion in the Gulf of Mexico. Our dedication to supporting every phase of the project enabled the customer to gain valuable insights into the overall gravel pack treatment, allowing them to implement improvements for future operations.
