DuneFront’s continuous commitment to supporting our clients has kept us busy this quarter with our team being actively engaged in providing consulting services and training.
We completed two studies for an IOC operating in the Asia Pacific region. They were planning to execute a complex shunted OHGP, using shunted packers and other enabling technologies, and the presence of shale made the treatment design even more challenging. Using PackPro, our team of experts performed various sensitivities and provided recommendations to optimize the gravel pack treatment. This enabled the operator to understand and reduce the risk associated with the execution, improving the chances of successfully placing the pack.
We also had the opportunity to conduct PackPro training for an IOC in the Gulf of Mexico, which we tailored to their specific requirements. They learned how to better use PackPro in the design and evaluation of a their operations, helping them master gravel pack techniques.
If you have any sand control consulting or training needs, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We would be happy to work with you and customize the solutions to meet your needs.
CONFERENCES
We always enjoy attending conferences to share knowledge, network and continue building relationships with our clients. Our technical team attended multiple conferences this quarter.
Ramy Hatem, our Technical Sales Engineer, attended the Oman Petroleum and Energy Show in April. This conference is the only event in Oman that serves as a key meeting point for oil and gas companies, so Ramy had the opportunity to explore market trends and network with industry peers.
In May, our Technical Sales Team Lead, Kesavan Govinathan, participated in the IPA convention and exhibition in Jakarta, Indonesia. It provided a great opportunity to connect with clients and explore how services and expertise can address sand control challenges in Indonesia.

With the celebration behind them, they’re now eager to start working on the next version, which promises to further enhance PackPro’s capabilities and features.
