The third quarter of 2025 was both busy and rewarding for DuneFront. In this edition, we highlight how DuneFront shaping sand control worldwide through consulting projects, expert training, key industry events, and new digital tools.

Consulting studies – DuneFront shaping sand control worldwide

Beyond our reputation as sand control experts, it is the trusted relationships with our clients that continue to drive demand for our support across key regions. This is how we are shaping sand control worldwide this quarter:

• In Asia Pacific, for example, we partnered with a major NOC to design two open-hole gravel packs (OHGPs) and one cased-hole gravel pack (CHGP). These projects incorporated advanced enabling technologies such as diverter subs and Managed Pressure Gravel Packing (MPGP). In addition, we supported the same NOC with the design of an OHGP well in a tight margin environment.
• Meanwhile, in the Gulf of Mexico, we delivered our Real-Time Remote Support service. Our team assisted in decision-making for two shunted OHGP wells with diverter subs and MPGP. We later performed the post-job analysis for the same operations. We also collaborated with another major operator in the region on a shunt tube OHGP design.
• Similarly, in the East Mediterranean, we worked with a client on screen and gravel selection. We also supported the design of a shunted OHGP treatment.

Training Highlights – advancing sand control expertise

Building capability within the industry is central to our mission. In Q3, we conducted two PackPro-based gravel pack design and evaluation programs:

• Europe: A five-day course led by Ray Tibbles, equipping an independent operator with practical sand control expertise.
  
• Malaysia: A customized five-day session by Kesavan Govinathan for an international service company, focused on design and evaluation techniques.

Conferences & Workshops – global sand control solutions in action

This quarter, we actively participated in key industry forums, strengthening collaboration and knowledge-sharing:

• SPE NAICE, Nigeria – Martial Ouedraogo in collaboration with Nymagx, engaged with African energy professionals, highlighting DuneFront’s sand control expertise.
• SPE Sand Control Workshop, Jakarta – Kesavan Govinathan and Samyak Jain connected with energy professionals and delivered a well-received presentation on Predictive Modelling of Fluid Mixing and Slurry Roping, sparking discussion on operational sand control challenges.
• European Well Performance Forum, – Carolina Latini represented DuneFront, engaged with energy professionals across Europe and discussed how our expertise helps operators achieve successful treatments to maximize well performance.

Technical Webinar – shaping sand control knowledge worldwide

In our recent webinar, Real-Time Remote Support for Gravel Pack Operations, Ray Tibbles introduced DuneFront’s newest service. This offering delivers real-time modeling, design updates, and expert recommendations to help operators optimize outcomes and reduce risks during execution.

Software Team Innovation Meeting

In Wroclaw, Poland, our software team met to align on next-generation PackPro features. A key outcome: a new operations workflow that links multiple simulations in sequence, reflecting real-world conditions. This enhancement will be included in the upcoming PackPro release.
